Welcome to NEIFL Experience!

New England Indoor Football League:

Jamboree was great and so were the fans all in all a Great 1st week.

We do have some house cleaning issues that i need your help on going forward. So please let your paernts and coach's know ASAP. The Plex was very pleased with how we conduct business and the care the NEFIL takes to eensure a safe enviorment for your kids.

Below are some issued we need to be aware of:

1) Trash is becoming a major issue on the field. The Plex will supply barrels on the field for you all to make sure your sidelines are picked up after each game. You are responsible for the up keep and making sure your players and fans use care in picking up their trash. If the problem keeps up we will have no choice but to ban all food from the field of play. Last week our staff picked up food and empty water bottles from the field. THIS CAN NOT CONTINUE!!!. The NEIFL will be charged for trash pick up by the SportzPlex. I have no additional budget for this and if this continues I will have no choice but to pass the cost on to you guys as a whole, so please inform your parent and players to take extra care in picking up after themselves.

2) With the snow this week the Plex wants to remind everyone that their is ample parking at the back building to the right for over flow parking. While I don't think there will be a problem. Since we are on a game schedule not the Jamboree schedule. This should mean more of a steady flow of fans. Anyone not legally parked could be TOWED with out warning per the Bedford FD (Please remind your parents).

Lastly we have been asked why we do not allow fans upstairs? The upper balcony is for NEILF officials, staff and coaches. We have a lot of personal items that need to be under control during game night, however if you have a fan ie.. Grandparent or someone that needs to be seated for health reasons, please see me or Ron and we will allow them to sit up top. Alcohol is not allowed on the playing field at any time. Anyone seen drinking on the field will be removed from the building.

We are renters of the the facility and as renters we are under house rules that MUST be maintained. Please help us to make game night as enjoyable as possible. They last thing Ron and I want is have to shut us down because of lack of common sense.

This is not a bashing just a reminder of what we all need to do.

Good luck to all this weekend.

Tony

The New England Indoor Football League was designed to help High School Football players to improve on skills to prepare for football at higher levels.

The NEIFL is a full contact 8 vs 8 league that stresses team play and sportsmanship. Each game is played on a 50 yard football field and is staffed by professional and certified referees, field officials and medical professionals. We look to provide a competitive but safe environment for our players.

Many college and High School coaches use the league as a recruiting tool and have endorsed the league as a way to see players in the off season. They believe that play in the league improves skills that helps players prepare for football at higher levels.

The NEIFL season begins on January 8 and ends March 19. All games are played on Saturday evenings starting at 5PM at the NH Sportsplex in Bedford. Each game runs between 60 and 90 minutes. The NEIFL started a Jr. High program in 2005 that has helped young athletes prepare for High School football. The Jr. High program helps transition the youth player to the high school level. Our overall goal is to improve football skills, develop a sense of team play, good sportsmanship and most of all a fun and exciting environment
